Oh My God was Morten's outburst when I suggested that we should open a gallery in Odense. It became the project OMG, which quickly became One More Gallery - with a little twinkle in the eye.
We moved to Gersø on North Funen at the beginning of 2022, after many years in North Zealand, where we had the summer gallery Die Kunsthalle Liseleje.
My passion for art and communication quickly came into play when I was assigned to the gallery albert contemporary in Odense. Gallerist Jonathan Kvium introduced me to the fantastic artist environment and encouraged me to start communicating art on my own.
After a lot of deliberation, it initially turned into a successful group exhibition at Filosoffen Odense in Easter 2023.
We opened One More Gallery in November 2023, in the cozy Overgade in the center of Odense.
My background is a bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of Copenhagen and many years as a visual arts teacher.
The artists you will meet in the gallery are colorful, whimsical, interesting and positive - and the prices of their works are reasonable.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming everyone. I am the gallerist who can talk about art for hours and my husband Morten is the curator who makes it all happen.
